Psalm 83 & the confederacy of hate

The nations where the ten ancient people groups and tribes mentioned in Psalm 83 live today, are Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and the Palestinian territories within Israel. (David Dolan - "Israel's Next War") Others believe that while some of these nations are easy to trace, others are more speculative.

'We do know that Assyria is the same as modern-day Iraq.
And that the Ishmaelites, descended from Abraham and Hagar, were the progenitors of the Arabs.

We know the Edomites and the Amalekites were descendents of Esau, and the Moabites and Ammonites from Lot, but to trace them today is well-nigh impossible.

The Philistines inhabited the area now known as the Gaza Strip.
The city of Tyre was located in what is now Lebanon.

Gebal is the same as ancient Gubla or Byblos, located in Phoenica.
Some sources list the Hagarites as descendents of Hagar, and therefore a segment of Ishmaelites, but the identification is not positive...

Ireland worker finds ancient psalms in bog - Yahoo! News

The approximately 20-page book has been dated to the years 800-1000. Trinity College manuscripts expert Bernard Meehan said it was the first discovery of an Irish early medieval document in two centuries.

"This is really a miracle find," said Pat Wallace, director of the National Museum of Ireland, which has the book stored in refrigeration and facing years of painstaking analysis before being put on public display.
"There's two sets of odds that make this discovery really way out.

First of all, it's unlikely that something this fragile could survive buried in a bog at all, and then for it to be unearthed and spotted before it was destroyed is incalculably more amazing."

He said an engineer was digging up bogland last week to create commercial potting soil somewhere in Ireland's midlands when, "just beyond the bucket of his bulldozer, he spotted something." Wallace would not specify where the book was found because a team of archaeologists is still exploring the site.

"The owner of the bog has had dealings with us in past and is very much in favor of archaeological discovery and reporting it," Wallace said.
Crucially, he said, the bog owner covered up the book with damp soil. Had it been left exposed overnight, he said, "it could have dried out and just vanished, blown away."

The book was found open to a page describing, in Latin script, Psalm 83, in which God hears complaints of other nations' attempts to wipe out the name of Israel

Lebanon Is Not Innocent

Lebanon is guilty of capitulation to hezbollah and refusing to clean out the hornet’s nest on their southern border.

When the mohammadans are allowed to operate freely in the land the government and the people of that land are as guilty as hezbollah as they refuse to kill the scum and instead allow them to continue their assault on Israel.

Lebanon is not innocent Lebanon is guilty.

Lebanon is guilty; they are guilty of sitting idly by while hezbollah runs their country for them. Lebanon should use its army however weak it may or may not be and face the tyrants in the backyard, and if the Lebanese government needs help they can ask Israel, and the United States etc to help get rid of the cancer that is eating the nation of Lebanon alive. It all comes down to brains, guts, and determination. Leaders of nations have to have all or they are worthless

The fact is that Lebanon has an islamo-jihadist thug group functioning as part of their government, and running the southern part of the country. This, in combination with the fact that the mohammadans want to push The Jews/Israel into the sea and finish where Hitler left off is why the Lebanese government is doing nothing, nor is it willing to rid itself of the virus that flows through their national veins. If the government of Lebanon wants unity with its neighbors then they must rid themselves of the Nazis in the backyard, hezbollah, and denounce jihad completely.

There seems to be a mentality in the world that tends to make a place for islamo-jihadist thug groups to remain as if they have some sort of legitimacy, the mentality of fools. For instance, Israel had for the longest time allowed the PLO; then their replacement, hamas, and hezbollah, and every other jihadist group that pops up to remain and looked upon on as a body to be negotiated with. Israel has bargained with them, made deals with them, signed treaties with them and given land to them. The only thing Israel has NEVER attempted is wiping them the hell out. this is their chance.

There is no room on the planet for these jihadist thug groups they must be finished off once and for all; they have no right to existence on planet earth.

If the Lebanese government cared about the nation they would do whatever it takes to eliminate hezbollah. If they don't do anything to eliminate the mohammadan threat they either do not want hezbollah eliminated, or they are just too fearful to do anything about it. In the case that they are fearful I would say they still do not care about the nation or its people because the politicos let their fear control their actions.

So, either they fear too much and do not really care, or they do not want hezbollah to be destroyed and again do not care which the latter is more than likely the fact.

Not so long ago a small budding nation with a lot of guts and a rattlesnake symbol on its flag stood up to the dominant world power and won. Surely Lebanon can stand up to the Nazi islamo-jihadist scourge hezbollah; that is if they really want a stable nation, and peaceful relations with their neighbor to the south, Israel.

Outcry as border guards seize British 'dirty bomb' lorry heading for Iran | the Daily Mail

Border guards seized a British lorry on its way to make a delivery to the Iranian military - after discovering it was packed with radioactive material that could be used to build a dirty bomb.

The lorry set off from Kent on its way to Tehran but was stopped by officials at a checkpoint on Bulgaria's northernborder with Romania after a scanner indicated radiation levels 200 times above normal.

The lorry was impounded and the Bulgarian Nuclear Regulatory Agency (NPA) was called out.

On board they found ten lead-lined boxes addressed to the Iranian Ministry of Defence. Inside each box was a soil-testing device, containing highly dangerous quantities of radioactive caesium 137 and americium-beryllium.
The soil testers had been sent to Iran by a British firm with the apparent export approval of the Department of Trade and Industry.

Last night, the head of the Bulgarian NRA, Nikolai Todorov, said he was shocked that devices containing so much nuclear material could be sold so easily.

He said: "The devices are highly radioactive - if you had another 90 of them you would be able to make an effective dirty bomb."

And a spokesman for the Bulgarian customs office, said: "The documentation listed the shipment as destined for the Ministry of Transport in Tehran, although the final delivery address was the Iranian Ministry of Defence.

Thousands join protest in Sudan

Published: Thursday, 20 July, 2006,
11:34 AM Doha Time

KHARTOUM: Thousands of Sudanese students packed into the capital Khartoum yesterday to condemn the Israeli attacks on Lebanon and Gaza and voice their desire to fight against Israel.

“Open the borders (for us) to exterminate the Israelis,” they shouted as they carried pictures of Hassan Nasrallah, the head of the Lebanese Shia group Hezbollah and Hamas political leader Khalid Mishal.

After a series of speeches from student activists, the demonstrators marched towards the Lebanese embassy and handed diplomats there a memorandum supporting Hezbollah.

“What was taken by force will be retrieved only by force,” the note read.

A delegation chosen from the demonstrators made its way to the UN offices in the city centre with a letter addressed to the UN Secretary General Kofi Annan.

“The tears of the bereaved mothers and wives in Lebanon and the blood of the children and old men in Palestine ridicule the (UN),” it read. – AFP

Anti-Christian violence erupts in Mississippi

Going to church on Sunday can get your beaten or killed in some countries overseas. A number of parish priests have been slaughtered recently in Turkey for example.

But who ever would expect danger from church going in Bible belt Jackson, Mississippi where the faithful flock to church every Sunday to hear the Gospel of Christ?

Fascist rule is taking root in Jackson, Mississippi, reports the Christian Newswire.

The Unitarian Universalist Church and St. James Episcopal Church were both scenes of terror for church attendees yesterday.

As folk filed into the church, a group of masked anarchists sprang up from nowhere like threatening storm clouds out of the blue. Group members threatened to murder the Christians--all for trying to make their way inside to attend services.

At the normally peaceful Universalist Church, the uttered death threats were followed through with violence when a group of anti-Christian rioters, their faces hidden from view by bandanas and brandishing six feet of PVC pipe, attacked and threatened to murder the lone occupant of one car.

With the driver held hostage in his vehicle, the rioters smashed windows, ultimately destroying the vehicle before fleeing the scene "like cowards", in the words of the Rev. Flip Benham, National Director, Operation Save America.

One would think that terrorizing church-going citizens and wrecking cars with pipe anywhere in America would result in prompt charges and arrests

But the rioters were allowed to go free.

"'One of Jackson's police officers on the scene stated that they (police) could do nothing because the rioters refused to identify themselves when asked,' said Rev. Benham. 'The police refused to control the situation and would not even take a report until congregants volunteered to handle the situation through church lawyers.'"

IAF foils rocket transports from Syria - News from Israel, Ynetnews

Although Hizbullah has suffered a harsh blow from Israeli air force strikes which took out a good percentage of their available weapons, Syria was continuing to smuggle arms into Lebanon to rearm the group, IDF Operations Branch Head Major General Gadi Eisenkot said during a press briefing Tuesday.

Thus far, the IAF managed to intercept a number of trucks transporting rockets from Syria to Hizbullah, including trucks laden with the 20mm-diameter rockets with warheads like the one that hit the Haifa train depot Monday, claiming eight lives.

Delay Redux?

Could Tom DeLay be headed back to the House?

A source close to the ex-Congressman tells TIME that DeLay is planning an aggressive campaign to retake the House seat he quit in June if an appeals court lets stand a ruling by a federal judge last week that his name must stay on November's ballot--even though he has moved to Virginia. "If it isn't overturned, Katy bar the door!" says a G.O.P. official. "Guess he'll have to fire up the engines on the campaign and let 'er rip."
