There's been a fresh attack on a Christian village in Indonesia's Maluku Islands.
CBN.com - There's been a fresh attack on a Christian village in Indonesia's Maluku Islands. The attack came as a few Christians celebrated the 52nd anniversary of a failed independence movement. Now, the radical Muslim group, Laskar Jihad, has called all Muslims in the islands to renew their war against Christians.
About a dozen men armed with guns, grenades and daggers stormed the Christian village of Soya on the last Sunday in April, leaving a trail of death and destruction. Thirty or more homes were torched. A church was destroyed. And at least twelve Christians were murdered.
Among the victims was a six-month old child. Witnesses said the attackers went from house to house, shooting residents..
